President and
Chief Executive Officer, Beverly Weber
Beverly Weber
joined the United Way of Benton and Franklin Counties in
December 2003. As President and Chief Executive
Officer, Beverly oversees all aspects of the United
Way's work in carrying out our mission of building a
stronger community in the Benton and Franklin Counties
area. Her affiliation with United Way began in February
1989 at the United Way of Greater St. Louis (St. Louis,
MO) where she worked 10 years as Community Initiatives
Director. She most recently spent 5 years as Executive
Director and Chief Executive Officer of United Way of
Johnson County (Iowa City, IA). Beverly has devoted her
entire career to the health and human service field.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the
University of North Dakota and a Master of Public
Administration Degree from Southern Illinois University.

Vice
President, Marilyn Davis
Marilyn
joined the United Way in 1998. Her responsibilities
include overall office and building management and the
oversight of all the business practices at United Way.
Marilyn works closely with the staff and Board of
Directors to ensure all operations and procedures at the
United Way are accountable to the highest standards of
professionalism. Before joining the United Way, Marilyn
worked at Columbia Industries for 26 years. She is a
graduate of Class VI of Leadership Tri-Cities. Marilyn
is also a member of the Kiwanis Club where she co-chairs
the Youth Services Committee. She holds a Master's
Degree in Social Work from Eastern Washington
University.

Director of
Resource Development, Gail Greager
Gail
has been with the United Way since January 2000. Her
management role at United Way is to oversee all resource
development activities involved in conducting the annual
fundraising campaign. Gail has 18 years of experience
working within the not-for-profit world, including ten
years as the marketing director for Columbia
Industries. Gail's six years of higher education
include majoring in Forestry at Washington State
University and studying French Literature at the
University de Avignon, France. Active in the community,
Gail has been with the Pasco-Kennewick Rotary Club since
1990 and served as their first woman president in
1997-1998. Gail is also a proud graduate of Leadership
Tri-Cities, Class V.

of Community Solutions, Becky Gauthier
Becky
joined the United Way in August of 2006 She is
responsible for planning, development and implementation
of Community Solutions, a region-wide human service
approach addressing pressing community needs. Becky
also facilitates a volunteer process that integrates
Community Solutions into the distribution of United
Way's Community Fund. She also oversees community
information and communications activities. Becky has a
total of 27 years of professional experience in
community development, economic development and
marketing. Becky holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Social Work from the University of Washington and a
Masters Degree in Business Administration from
Washington State University Tri-Cities. Becky is
President Elect of the Board of Directors at Leadership
Tri-Cities.

Director of
Finance, Lauri Roberts
Lauri
joined the United Way in February, 2006. Her role is to
direct and monitor the internal financial system. She
previously worked at Niemi, Holland and Scott LLP, where
she specialized in not-for-profit auditing. She also
has corporate experience working as a controller and a
finance director. Lauri is a Certified Public
Accountant, a member of the American Institute for
Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Washington
Society of Certified Public Accountants (WSCPA). She is

Resource
Development Manager, Sarah Murphy
Sarah
joined the United Way in August of 2004. She is a
Resource Development Associate for the Public, City and
County divisions and also coordinates the Loaned
Executive Program. In addition, she is a founder of the
Young Leaders Society. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts
Degree in Family Human Development with an emphasis in
not-for-profit organizations from Utah State University.

Communications Manager, Heather Linderman
Heather joined the United Way in June
of 2007. She is responsible for the development and
implementation of community education and marketing
strategies. Heather also manages marketing and
promotional materials, and coordinates communications
efforts. Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations from
Pacific Lutheran University.

Finance
Associate, Carol Brandner
Carol
began working at the United Way in March of 2002. She
is the hands-on staff person responsible for financial
disbursements, including payroll, accounts payable and
accounts receivable. Carol also handles the payment of
funds designated by donors to specific not-for-profit
organizations. Carol is a graduate of Gonzaga
University.

Technology Manager, Larry Ruffin
Larry
started working at the United Way in June of 2000. He
manages the network and databases of the United Way,
updates all computers and software and creates database
applications for the needs of the United Way. Larry
graduated from the University of Washington.

Resource Development
Associate, Heather Hoppe
Heather joined the United Way in June of 2007. She is a
Resource Development Associate for the Commerce and
Professional Divisions. Before coming to United Way,
Heather worked as the Education Outreach Coordinator for
the Sexual Assault Response Center. Heather has a
Bachelors Degree in Human Development from Washington
State University.

Melissa Curtis
Melissa
started working at the United Way in May 2005. She
helps make everyone's job a little easier and is the
friendly voice that greets you on the phone and the
smile that welcomes you when you enter the United Way
office. Melissa graduated from Central Washington
University.
