Vintage Circle
What is the
Vintage Circle
of the United Way of Benton and Franklin Counties?
The United Way of Benton and
Franklin Counties is organizing the
Vintage Circle
to promote and encourage the spirit of volunteerism
among Tri-Citians over 50. The
Vintage Circle
provides a variety of opportunities to meet other
individuals with similar life strategies and community
interests.
What can the
Vintage Circle
offer you?
Vintage Circle members will enjoy
exclusive opportunities to participate in fun-filled
activities throughout the year. This unique and
energized group offers its members valuable networking
and social and education-related events designed to
inform members about local issues and expand their
knowledge of resources in the community. A sample of
the events we are planning include two events with the
Young Leaders Society, a wine educational activity and a
Bingo night.
The
Vintage Circle works closely with the
United Way Community Partner Agencies to identify
volunteer opportunities that resonate with our group
interests. We are planning tours of some of these
agencies in the near future.
Members will also have the
opportunity to share their skills and talents in
addressing the issues that matter most in our community.
How can you become a
member of the Vintage Circle?
Individuals or couples, fifty
years of age or older may join the
Vintage Circle in one of three
ways:
1. Contribute a combined annual gift of $1,000
to the United Way
2. Contribute a combined annual gift of $500 to
the United Way with a commitment to
increase that to $1,000 in 2 years
3. Contribute a combined annual gift of $500 to
the United Way and participate in
community service projects organized by the
Vintage Circle.
